I've also been told that there can only be up to 6 pre-defined tags on a project. No user created ones.

Just like I highlighted up there, tags with punctuation also are usually spam, because nobody would put exclamation points in the search box.

Don't like the idea of a user being banned for doing that. I think tags are a way of advertising your project tag spam is a way of it, I think you can still countinue removing these tags, but leave the users alone.
