Once every 6 months should be fine, as most people who need to test have already done so... Or every time it reaches a certain number of pages...

Have a cron job check the database for x pages every, say, day, and then if there are more pages than x, delete them.

It's much easier to do it manually.

Perhaps delete it every time there's more than 100 pages or so.
