You just started playing?! 0_0
I've been playing that since I was like 8!
Anyway, its a great game. :3 We have like 5 different versions.
My favorite version is probably the original, but the Indiana Jones version is cool too. B)

I had only played the junior version before. It's sad right? (Note: I have been way to old for junior version for a long time now.)

Hehe, I used to have a sea life junior monopoly thing!! 8D I vaguely remember that the die was glow in the dark, hahah. XD
When we play, we always try to get the dark blue properties first (of course, since they're always raking in the big cash XD) and we get very competitive. It gets violent. (JUST KIDDING )

Our junior version was street-fair themed. You only receive 2 dollars for passing GO, and everything is much cheaper.

2 Dollars? They must've been made by the British Government.

Every once in a while my family gets into a "monopoly phase" that happens every couple months and what that means is; we play monopoly non-stop for a couple weeks! Right now we're on week three and we've played 23 games! I've won 6, my dads won 4, and my bro has won 13! (yes we're keeping track) And actually we're playing again right now!

Sorta our games only last an hour or hour and a half so we'll at least play one a day but since we're on vacation we play two or three games a day XD I'm getting a little bored though because we keep using the same version! We have other versions but my brother doesn't want to change it (it's the .com edition) I really want to get the M&M edition but it's $50.00!

Yeah XD He is 6 years older than me and my dad has good stradegy but really bad luck. The thing is my brother makes "reasonable" offers and my dad and I just give in after a while to make the game more interesting. We're also entrepeneurs so we take our monopoly very seriously

Actually, it's best to get the orange properties since you're really likely to land in Jail and the orange properties are right next to that.

Also I'd like to quote from the Cracked dot com comments section:
Impartial Bias wrote:
For monopoly, if it become apparent that you are losing, and you don't want to admit defeat, simply firmly grasp the underside of the game board, and push you hands vertically upward. Some inexperienced players call this move "flipping the board" or "what the * dude!?". However, experienced players (like myself) call this "Communist Monopoly", where nobody wins, and nobody loses. This allows everyone to bask in the mediocrity of equality, and gain the perspective of how capitalism is evil. Thus, everyone is a winner, as everyone learns a good moral lesson. You're just more of a winner, because you're the one that helped everyone realize it.

Dark blue properties suck since there's only two of them
Oranges make the most profits when you take into account what you paid for them but greens get you the most money in the long term
It's sad how much time I've spent looking up monopoly tactics

The dark blue suck? Heck no! Yeah there's only two of them but if someone lands on it, you make almost twise as much as everyone else! In my family if someone has a dark blue property then you're screwed. But yeah oranges and green tend to be one of the better ones...
