Pretty much. We're a huge fanbase and every time something like this shows up, the news goes out on big sites like EqD and Reddit, and everyone flocks to vote.

I found it interesting that Doctor Who fans placed second, and Firefly fourth.

Besides Doctor Who got second, and that's my second favorite TV show so I've got nothing to complain about.
Actually, as mentioned on EqD, Doctor Who was ahead at first because a lot of bronies (including me) were voting for Doctor Who. It was a close race until the end.

Oh and now they are making a documentary video about bronies because they got first place.

because most of the people already know the lessons but dont follow them because.... idk. they probably find it stupid.

Bronies aren't all that bad in certain areas, on 4chan it's actually very good, bronies stick to their own threads and anti-bronies make their own threads (which normally 404 very quickly anyway). Meaning people can complain all they want about ponies, but the truth is if they're seeing it a lot it's because they're either in /mlp/ or in a pony thread.

For once something that came out of 4chan is better than what it's evolved into.
