With Gems.
Everytime the ball touches the Gem, it must dissapear, and if the ball touches the bottom, Lines of different colored gems should appear at the top and make the lines of Gems go down at least 3 times. and it should be random where the Gems go and they MUST be connected. and in a square with a paddle.

I can see that this is going to take either quite a few sprites, or quite a bit of scripts and stamping. I really need to get off of the computer, so I certainly won't be able to help today. So, I hope that someone else will be able to come to your aid!

I'll see. In the mean time, since I don't want to do everything, could you make the paddle sprite and a sprite with atleast 7 different colored gems?

Okay, that should help speed things up, though I still won't be able to do anything today because I need to go to bed really soon, and this would be too much work in the time I do have, so this will have to wait till tomorrow. Sorry if you need this soon, but I can't avoid this.

Hey Ernie. Did you do the parts of my game i asked for you to do?
I worked on the menu yesterday, and the rest I'll do later. Anyway, Merry Christmas! (Or kuwanzaa, hanukkah, ect...) I wish you a great time with your family and friends. :)

I have two quick questions;
1). In your version of Puchi Carat, in 1P mode, will you be playing against an enemy AI or are you playing by yourself?
2). Do you want it so that there'll eventually be the option to "battle" against someone, either an enemy AI or another player?
3). I think that I bit one a cookie too big when I started helping you because in your video, I had seen that knocking out a gem that was another gem's last connection to the top would cause it to fall, and that is going to be hard for me to replicate. Do you still want that feature?

1. Playing By yourself.
2. Yes. An AI. but if the upload limit will go over 10 MB when uploading, then no.
3. if you can, yes. if not, then no.

Okay, I'm just making sure that I knew this. And about question #3, I just realised how to do this, and it shouldn't be too hard to do now that I know how, so I'll try.

Ok how long would this take?
Well during this time, I'll be working on a blog, as well as City Tycoon II, so I'm not exactly sure. What I am certain about is that this is going to a bit of work, so not for atleast a few days.

"Not for?" sorry, i don't quite understand what you meant.
It's okay. So, what I meant by "so not for atleast a few days." is that I won't be able to get your project back to you in these next few days, and the same might be true after those few days. I hope that this clears up the confusion.

Hey. How the game coming along?
I'm just getting started with the physics part of it and adding in a graphic from Puchi Carat so as to help programming later on. Also, I happen to have a new question; do you want a trail following the ball/gem, and if yes, then do you want ghost effect added in or not?
Edit: I forgot to ask you, and sorry if this is a lot of questions, though do you want the mouse to make the paddle move, or do you want the arrow keys to do that?

Ah okay, that's nice.

Good, though now I've run into something. In Puchi Carat, the field is 9 gems long, except I can only get in 6 or 12 gems without mutilating the graphics. So which one do you want?
