Baked potato changed my life
Baked potato shown me the way
If you want to know what is wrong from right you must listen to what the Baked potatoes say
Do be early don't be late
Thank you Baked potato
always eat what's on your plate
Thank you Baked potato
and if you want to have a better day
you must listen to what the Baked potato say
do be happy don't be sad
thank you Baked potato
do be good don't be bad
thank you Baked potato
and if you want to have a better day you must listen to what the Baked potato say

"Slam The Door" // ZEDD
"K+D+B" // The Chemical Brothers
"Won't You (Be There)" // Nero
And this:
Spaghetti was a meal, best served hot.
I was served a portion, it was quite alot!
But the last strand, looked so cute,
Though she didn't speak a word - she was completely mute!
Tomato sauce, all the way,
I'd like to be with you everyday!
Wherever we are, whenever it is -
If I be Mr, will you be the Mrs?
That day we met, changed my life.
Someday, maybe could you be my wife?
I know it crazy how we're still friends,
But I feel like we're finally meeting loose ends.
Tomorrow I hope, we'd get wed -
But there you were, in my bed.
Sleeping with a pot of ragu happily,
Can't you broke my heart - rapidly!
But spaghetti, why not return?
Even though I'm just a lonely intern.
You were mean't for my plate,
And now you're the only person I hate.
So guess what I did? I killed him slowly,
I favoured the taste of spinach and brocolli.
Now you have to be mine or else,
The only things ringin' are your funeral bells.

^^^ slowly does not rhyme with brocolli unless, i don't know, you pronounce it funny?

Song 1:
I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listen as the crowd would sing "Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!" One minute I held the key Next the walls were closed on me And I discovered that my castles stand Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain Once you go there was never Never an honest word And that was when I ruled the world It was the wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in Shattered windows and the sound of drums People couldn't believe what I'd become Revolutionaries wait For my head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Oh who would ever want to be king? I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world
Song 2:
Load up on guns, bring your friends It's fun to lose and to pretend She's overboard and self-assured Oh, no, I know a dirty word Hello, Hello, Hello, How Low (x3) Hello, Hello, Hello With the lights out, it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious Here we are now, entertain us A mulatto An albino A mosquito My libido Yeah Hey... Yay I'm worse at what I do best And for this gift I feel blessed Our little group (tribe) has always been And always will until the end Hello, Hello, Hello, How Low (x3) Hello, Hello, Hello With the lights out, it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious Here we are now, entertain us A mulatto An albino A mosquito My libido Yeah Hey... Yay (Guitar solo) And I forget just why I taste Oh, yeah, I guess it makes me smile I found it hard, it's hard to find Oh well, whatever, nevermind Hello, Hello, Hello, How Low (x3) Hello, Hello, Hello With the lights out, it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious Here we are now, entertain us A mulatto An albino A mosquito My libido Yeah a denial A denial! (x9)
Song 3:
Oh, well imagine As I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor And I can't help but to hear No, I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words "What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!?, says a bridesmaid to a waiter "And yes, but what a shame, what a shame The poor groom's bride is a w***e" I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a g*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of poise and rationality I chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a g*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of Well in fact Well I'll look at it this way I mean technically our marriage is saved Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne Oh! Well in fact Well I'll look at it this way I mean technically our marriage is saved Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne Pour the champagne I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a g*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of poise and rationality I chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a g*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of poise and rationality Again I chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a g*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of poise and rationality I chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing ag*****n door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things With a sense of poise and rationality Again

i love a lot of songs but the first one that came to mind today was Goodbye Sky Harbor by Jimmy Eat World
the chorus has a fairly hypnotic effect on me.
again, i shall ask you this once again.
he said, i am but one small instrument.
do you remember that?

That's my favorite Jimmy Eat World song, although I think that that it should have been around 12 minutes or have had more lyrics at the end.
Another song: Needle in the Hay by Elliot Smith. Came to mind again when watching The Royal Tenenbaums.

"K+D+B" by The Chemical Brothers
The lyrics are:
See them rise, see them rise
Higher
And higher
And higher
And higher

the song length has a meaning though- apparently 16 minutes and 10 seconds was the time it took to get to cruising altitude from Sky Harbor International. Don't know if its true though

In a nightmare, I am falling from the ceiling into bed beside you. You're asleep, I'm screaming, shoving you to try to wake you up. And like before, you've got no interest in the life you live when you're awake. Your dreams still follow storylines, like fictions you would make
So I lie down against your back, until we're both back in the hospital. But now it's not a cancer ward, we're sleeping in the morgue. Men and women in blue and white, they are singing all around you. With heavy shovels holding earth, you're being buried to you neck. In that hospital bed, being buried quite alive now. I'm trying to dig you out but all you want is to be buried there together. You're screaming, and cursing, and angry, and hurting me, and then smiling, and crying, apologizing.
I've woken up, I'm in our bed, but there's no breathing body there beside me. Someone must have taken you while I was stuck asleep. But I know better as my eyes adjust. You've been gone for quite a while now, and I don't work there in the hospital (they had to let me go.)
When I try to move my arms sometimes, they weigh too much to lift. I think you buried me awake (my one and only parting gift). But you return to me at night just when I think I may have fallen asleep. Your face is up against mine, and I'm too terrified to speak.

"The Veldt" // Deadmau5 ft. Chris James
Lyrics: Here; the world that the children made, The world that the children made. Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made. Every night, they rock us to sleep, Digital family. Is it real - or is it a dream? Can you believe in machines? Outside, the beating sun, Can you hear the screams? We'll never leave, look at us now, So in love with the way we are. Here; the world that the children made, The world that the children made. Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made. Happy life; with the machines, Scattered around the room. Look what they made, they made it for me. Happy technology. Outside, the lions roam: Feeding on remains. We'll never leave, look at us now, So in love with the way we are. Here; the world that the children made, The world that the children made. Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made, Here; the world that the children made.
