Importing Scratch 1.4 Projects In To Scratch 2.0

So I was just wondering, when Scratch 2.0 reads 1.4 projects, will it have to be compressed?  And on to my next question, if not, when the projects are shared, will we have to compress them?  Probably not, but I'm just wondering.  Because if they never had to be compressed, that would be just so cool!  Now I know, I'm clueless on this stuff, can somebody please tell me?  Greatly appreciated!

I don't think it will have to be compressed becuase scratch 2.0 will have a higher Mb limit.
