I love some anime. I used to watch Pokemon and was really into it, but I don't watch it anymore. (I liked the original series with Ash, Misty and Brock, not all the new ones.)
If Avatar the Last Airbender counts, then I love that. I don't consider it anime, but it may be.
Lastly, I LOVE NARUTO! I love the games and the show. I really love Sasuke! <3Actualy, Avatar the last airbender is anime, the artwork style is called seinen, wich means "adult style".Seinen, has a lot of realistic features, so people might think it's american.

I have an idea for a manga. I call it "Strikes of Justice"
It is about a teenage Japanese boy named Nayukei who immigrates to the United States with his family. They live in either Nevada or Texas in a fancy house. One night, ninjas break in and try to steal his dad's blueprints for (I have not figured that out yet) and kill his dad. Nayukei single handedly fights the ninja and the last one narrowly escapes. Nayukei signs up for karate practice at a dojo he did not know existed in Liberty City called Ajikari Academy. The dojo is ran by a shinigami martial artist named Hiroto (when I drew him, he kind of reminds of Master Tinzin from Legend of Korra) who trains the pupils to be martial- artists. Nayukei and his friends train their so one day they can defeat the man who sent the ninjas to kill his father.
Tell me what you think.

I don't watch much anime television (except for Serial Experiments Lain which I enjoy to a certain extent), but I do adore Studio Ghibli, particularly the work of Hayao Miyazaki (in fact Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are in my top 10 films of all time, along with Grave of the Fireflies which was directed by his partner).

The most awkward thing just happened.
I was looking at the Madoka limited edition first volume box set (which is what I was planning on saving up my allowance on), when my mom comes in. She takes one look and is all like, "Why is this so pink? This looks like it's for girls. It's a bunch of girls surrounded by a kitten (yes I know, kitten *facepalm*)."
"It's not for girls." I argue. "I'll show you."
---
SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT! DO NOT LOOK IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MADOKA!
---
So then I show her Mami's death scene.
"I'm worried about you now. You like girly, morbid stuff."
At this point though, I'm considering just saving up for Toriko (a show I've been planning to watch for quite a while) instead since it's only $15.99 on Right Stuf.

I really like it! .....I think you need to make it a little more plausible though.

I'd say Puella Magi Madoka Magica is best. I like all the characters, espicially Madoka Kaname (due to her existance from the universe in the last episode). That epsiode made my cry. Why?

Shugo Chara spin-off idea:
Ryan April is a boy who was born in San Francisco, but soon moved to Escondido, California. When he was 8, he had to move to Japan with his parents, leaving Amy, his older sister, to stay with her grandma in San Jose. Ryan moves to where the first anime took place, and goes to the academy, and gets 2 guardian characters and gets in the guardians. But he learns something: he's extremely special and makes a relationship and learns he's a chick magnet. But when Ryan leaves at age eleven to go back to Escondido.
There's more that I'm posting later. What do you think?Gimme opinions, people!
BTW, I call it "Shugo Chara Plus"

I'm 13 and allowed to watch some R movies (I've seen The Terminator, T2, The Matrix, others) and after two years of begging my dad to let me see Akira, he finally did. It was a very violent movie but I thought it was thought-provoking, way ahead of its time, and way better than any anime I'd seen. Plus I remember that I used to read some of the manga at my local Barnes and Noble. :P

What's it rated R for? I've only been already to watch one rated-R movie (well, unedited; I've seen some edited R-rated movies on TV, but not many channels show anime); Sleepy Hollow, which was rated R for the gore.
