I am going to undertake a great project. Try to get a group to make Scratch in Text. I need help to make it though. (I have no real programming skills. lol)

I seem to remember that one of Jens' experimental versions of Scratch (probably Chirp) had a feature that would let you export and import Scratch scripts as XML structures (which is a text-based format). It might be something you would enjoy looking at.

I will help. Use ruby, it is 30x easier than python and more elegant. Plus its completely object oriented. I can even help you learn it
