You can activate by every key except the "anykey".

In all seriousness, this would be a useful option, or even to completely replace the "when  <key> key pressed" block with simply "when key pressed" that can then add an "if" block to test which key has been pressed.  Or add the "any key" to the list of potential keys to watch for.

In the meantime I've posted a project with a sprite that sends out an "anykey" message if any of the keys that Scratch recognizes is typed!

Thanks for the suggestion.  I think it's a good one, and it's been added to our wish list.  Thanks mungojelly for setting up a project that does it in the meantime!
