I am working on a huge chatbot project and the chatbot will use keywords and has favorites, basic knowlege (people, what things are, why things are, and things that are happening in the world), a dictionary that has as many words as a pocket dictionary, conversation ability, and much more!

I know what you are thinking... This is to big and complicated to happen. But I have written down how I will program most of it and I am pretty far already. When I am finished, I (might) add a script that will make it verbally say what it displays on the screen.

Here are my ideas:

1). Each chat session, it picks a random profession and acts like it actually does have it as its profession.

2). Make it work it multiple languages. big_smile

3). Make it so that it can play mental chess with you, and if possible, in mulitple languages.

4). Each chat session, you could give it a different country that it lives in.

5). Maybe you could have two modes in your chatbot; one where you just chat and another where you try and make it confess that it's a robot.

i love them besides the chat bot is for my science fair project and needs to be a lot like me.

Once you're done with it for the science fair project, I think it will be really cool/funny/life-like if you incorporate replies given by other people into someone else's responses (using cloud variables).

Awesome idea!I can't wait to see the scripting for this!And an idea since you said it has to be like your personality, what I would do is carry around a little pocket recorder or a device that can record and just start recording your conversations, then listen to yourself later and intergrate those things into the chatbot.
