People, if there were an overload of third party characters, it wouldn't be in its own state of a nintendo game, it'd be just be some fighting game with too many characters.

I say we add playable characters...

Petey Piranha (Pretty unlikely but I would still like to see it)
Bowser Junior
Bandana Waddle Dee
Paper Mario (win in paper form)
Yarn Kirby (win in yarn form)
Ghirahim
Ryu (Important symbol that a lot of people overlook)
Dark Samus (though there are more recent things, the Prime series were much better in terms of villainy, making Dark Samus a pretty good stamp of the series)
Megaman (Megaman's cool)

I don't think they should get rid of anyone. I know that Lucario is in debate, but he's a good and easy staple to give moves to.
Lucas is also in debate, but he's the glass cannon version of Ness. He may have similar moves, but he's got some original characteristics and moves, which prevents him from being defined as a clone.

I'm not listing who I want to be in the game; I'm simply listing the likely characters, the popular characters and the ones that may not return.
Notice how the list of likely characters has only 5 characters on it, while the list of popular characters is huge.
I like to do some thinking before I make lists.
