i dunno we should've waited until we got a reply, otherwise this is just going to be a whole bunch of wasted time. plus i could've always done one myself seeing as i have made several sites for different things, plus if the reply is a no then i wouldn't want to start a scratch awards anyway seeins as how many others there are and like i said, i wanted one to be official not yet another unofficial scratch one

well andresmh said that we should go ahead and do one ourselves and the scratch team will decide wether or not to feature it, so i guess the site was a good idea after all

yet the problem is that im not that interested in creating a competition if it isnt going to be 100% featured on the front page, seeing as this wasnt a forum about making a contest it was a forum about making THE contest, but you guys can go ahead without me.

The Scratch Team is not very keen on contests but I am particularly happy to support a user-driven initiative that is inclusive of all interests and skill levels. If you guys organize something that takes a life of its own I would be happy to feature somewhere on the front page. It takes a lot of work and coordination to do something good though.

i replied before but it didnt seem to work, hmm. anyway this is fantasytales letting you know that i do want to aprticipate in the contest contrary to what i said before also i think good categories would be best FIRST project which pits the best first projects head to head. then best game, best animation, best project in general, most improved user, best NEW user (someone who signed up within a months time) and best user in general (based on their projects and how friendly and helpful they are, and how good they are as well lol) if two users are equally matched, the nicer and more helpful one will win

also i have too many accounts that i created for various purposes over time (i have alot of ideas and its hard to keep track of them all so i made accounts for old contests and rating systems and tutorials, but i never use them anymore, so is there a way to delete them? thanks

I think I'll participate in this and help run it! Although I might enter my own project so I won't be aloud to judge that category. Anyways I'll look for more announcements on the website!
I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

thanks demosthenes, we are gonna need a panel of judges so that we can be impartial, but yes impretty sure that DOES mean that we cant enter anything 
but thats fine so im waiting for a reply from fireball123 and fruit before we start anything, but im sure they would be happy to have you help out

i joined the website, so im going to go ahead and create the galleries, 1 gallery per part of the contest so that its easier to sort through them all. they will be
1. best FIRST project
2. best game
3. best animation
4. best project in general
6. most raw talent user (someone who signed up within a months time who shows skill)
7. best user in general (based on their projects and how friendly and helpful they are)
judges are impartial, so anyone judging CANNOT enter thats 100% not for any categories at all. because even if you judge a certain category, and entered a different category, nobody can prove it is unbiased.
