That episode probably has the most adult refrences. I get them now.
Patrick: "Let's have another."
Spongebob: 0_0
And you just realized this?

Nah, I just haven't watched it in a while. Even when I last watched it, I didn't get ALL the references.

I watched the commentary by Paul Tibbit, Vincent Waller, and Steven Banks for the Two Faces Of Squidward. I really liked it!

My top 3 WORST list! Oh yeah, get ready for some rants. It's only top 3 because I sort of quit watching the show after Season 6, and have only seen a few episodes after that. But yeah, GET READY for the world to explode.
3. The Splinter - I hate this episode because...it's plain disgusting. Seriously, the slime oozing out of Spongebob's pulsating, blood-red thumb--yecch. I don't even need to say anymore. This episode also shows how stupid Spongebob is too.
2. Patrick-Man! - I'd heard some "good reception" about this episode from Animeboy975. Figuring that I should probably give the show another chance, I checked this episode out. Boy, was I in for a ragefit. I literally was ready to hurl the remote into the TV screen. Patrick under the influence that he's a "superhero"--okay, interesting premise. But this episode just emphasizes how much of a blithering idiot and fool the character has devolved into. He thinks that he's being smart, BUT HE'S NOT. He's just an idiot! I can go on for hours about this episode.
And the NUMBER ONE worst episode of Spongebob OF ALL TIME is...
1. Boating Buddies - This episode...argh. This episode just shows how much of an idiot Spongebob is. And shows how much of a jerk Squidward is too. Squidward also made himself very clear that HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE SPONGEBOB'S FRIEND. Yet Spongebob, being the TOTAL IDIOT that he is, just says, "Sure thing Boating Buddy!" This episode also shows how devoted to Squidward that Spongebob is. And when I mean devoted, I mean in a REALLY weird way. I mean, we all remember that awful stare from Spongebob, looking up at Squidward. And he's all like "We're best friends foreva" and Squidward says "No we are not" and Spongebob's like "Oh yes we are". Can't he get it through his hole-drilled head that SQUIDWARD WILL NEVER BE HIS FRIEND EVER. And Squidward acts like a jerk in this episode too. His attitude is all like "Oh I don't freaking belong here with you idiots especially you Spongebob" during boating school.And...that's the verdict. I used a lot of caps, I know. I told you that you were gonna be in for some rants. Anyways, there you go. My top three worst Spongebob episodes.

Except if you're talking about the one with the weird thing Spongebob gets as a pet as a friend for Gary...

Yeah, okay, because that episode sucked ba--eggs.
Also, been watching the newer episodes, and successfully been able to refrain myself from slamming an axe into the TV, unbelievably. I mean SERIOUSLY.
Animeboy, I'm sorry, these newer episodes are horrible. Every character has changed, I'll show you how later.

Yeah that one was bad. So was Glove World RIP. But it was still a great season. Just watch "Karen 2.0.", "Bubble Buddy Returns", "Drive Thru", "Squiditis", and "Planet Of The Jellyfish"
Not to mention, the jellyfish in Planet Of The Jellyfish were ADORABLE.

But I think we can all agree, the first four seasons were the best.

Karen 2.0 was, I'll admit, okay. Some jokes I actually snickered at, like "Analog? Who you calling analog?", but still.
Bubble Buddy Returns was pretty bad, mainly because of its flat story and lack of humor.
Drive Thru was also nothing but fast-paced stupidity.
Squiditis was also unfunny with a stupid plot.
Planet of the Jellyfish?
PLANET. OF. THE. JELLYFISH.
Oh god.
Haven't seen that one but I KNOW it's gonna be bad...
I'm sorry, man, I just can't stand most of the newer episodes. Either it's the new writers' nonexistent sense of humor, or I'm just maturing. I'm 13 years old, you know, and I guess I've just, well, outgrown cartoons now. I don't have the same sense of humor than I used to when I was 5. When I was 5, I'd laugh at any mention of the word "poop". Now I don't even crack a smile.

Planet Of The Jellyfish was like these alien jelly fish trap everyone in the freezer of the Krusty Krab and replace them with alien clones.
Karen 2.0. I liked because of the story and the computer jokes were really awesome.

Heehee. You said poop.
But, I think we all have to admit, Spongebob made us LOL when we were all seven or eight.
So we've had some good times with the yellow square dude.

I watched a new sponge bob episode. After that i was crying at how different the humor was.
What have the new writers done to sponge bob!

They're killing it, that's what they're doing!
And making it a lot more adult humor. Like in the old Christmas one, Squidward says "I feel like a-like a-" and it shows a picture of a donkey.

That's from an older episode, actually. I'd say that, all in all, the humor has become increasingly intended for younger audiences, what with all the toilet and gross-out humor. What made the first couple of seasons great was that it had a wry, witty sense of humor that older audiences could appreciate without ever becoming too cynical or stretching the fact that it was still a children's show.
