I am teaching my third Scratch programming class at my local library in January, and I was wondering if I could show the Scratch 2.0 alpha to my students. Would I be allowed to give them the password to check out the alpha as well?

You can show them it, but you can't give them the password for it.

Showing it off is fine...but please don't give out the password. In a few short weeks the site will be in open Beta and then passwords won't be necessary. Until then, we would like to limit access to it as we work on fixing glitches and tuning the servers.
