MS Excel "programs" (with no macros)

Anyone make these? I have GoL, binary list to chars, food chain animation (plots the 3 different creatures!), and more.
Here's a prime factorizer to get started:

Start with a blank sheet.
Turn on iterative calculations (file/office button, options, formulas (left), check enable iterative calculations, set max iterations to 1).
Set A1 to a (smallish) number, set B1 to 0.
Set A3 to this: =IF($B$1=0,"///",IF(MOD($A$30,$A$31)=0,A4,A3))
Drag-fill to A28.
Set A29 to FACTORS
Set B29 to =IF(A30=1,"Done factoring!","Factoring…")
Set A30 to =IF(B1=0,A1,IF(MOD(A30,A31)=0,A30/A31,A30))
Set A31 to =IF(B1=0,2,IF(A30=1,A31,IF(MOD(A30,A31)=0,A31,IF(A31>SQRT(A30),A30,IF(A31=2,A31+1,A31+2)))))
Set C1 to MS EXCEL PRIME FACTORIZER MADE BY MOLYBDENUM

To use, set B1 to 0, set A1 to the number you want to factor, and set B1 to 1.
Hold F9. The prime factors of the number should come out of the bottom, and when the "Factoring..." display says "Done factoring!", the program is done.

Discuss these.

Re: MS Excel "programs" (with no macros)

Alternatively, you can set the max iterations to 32767, and it will compute the factors (almost) instantly when you set B1 to 1.

Re: MS Excel "programs" (with no macros)

This sounds cool. I might try it on my other laptop in a few minutes (MS Office is on my other laptop and I don't want to buy it again just for my Macbook  tongue ).

Re: MS Excel "programs" (with no macros)

I'll have to try that out later when I have the time.

Right now I have an adder.

C1: =A1+B1

Oh wow that was so hard to make

bye 1.4, we all loved you. but we all outgrew the site. 2.0 is a welcome change.

Re: MS Excel "programs" (with no macros)

C1: =CONCATENATE(A1+B1, A2+B2, A3+B3)
C2: =CONCATENATE(A1*B1, A2*B2, A3*B3)
C3: =CONCATENATE(A1/B1, A2/B2, A3/B3)
D2: =CONCATENATE((C1+C2)+C3, (C1*C2)*C3, (C1/C2)/C3)
D2 is random numbers and periods, if A1 A2 A3 B1 B2 and B3 are random numbers from 1 to 10.

Is there a website you can learn this?
How do you do if, repeat, loops, etc?
