GitHub or Google Code?

^title
I'd like to host my code on a site which allows collaboration (and bug fixes from the community), but I can't decide between Google Code and GitHub. Suggestions?

Re: GitHub or Google Code?

I personally like Assembla, but a lot of my friends like GitHub. I don't know about Google Code.

Re: GitHub or Google Code?

I prefer Google Code over GitHub because I prefer SVN, which is an option on GC. Assembla also looks nice, though I've not done too much research into it as I've been happy with the simple interface of Google Code.  smile

Since Assembla costs money, I'd rather go with GCode or GitHub.  smile  Thanks for the suggestion though!

Re: GitHub or Google Code?

I use bitbucket, but from what I've seen of the two I'd probably prefer GitHub.

Assembla also has a free version.

It supports SVN and Git.

Re: GitHub or Google Code?

I've decided to go with GitHub. @Gravitation I'm setting up one for EasyAsPy.
Thanks all!
