First of all, it won't have better graphics since 1080p is the maximum resolution for gaming consoles, tvs, etc. And that's the resolution of the Wii U, so it can't get much better than that, unless you're talking about 4K, but that kind of tech is really expensive (most likely way too expensive for Microsoft), not to mention that to view that resolution, you'll need a 4K TV, which costs about $25,000.

And second of all, games aren't played for graphics, they're played for FUN. All I hear today is people saying "Wow! Look at those graphics!!" Um, what about the gameplay? It's not all about graphics. I can just imagine someone saying "Yeah, the game is boring and takes 5 minutes to beat, but I like it because it has AWESOME GRAPHICS, YAY!!!!!!!!!!112634784843856SQUIRMUJERMEY."

Yes, because a game system that hasn't even been announced or released yet is more powerful than a system that has.

You were saying XBOX avatars were cartoony. Aren't Miis even more cartoony? You can customize your XBOX avy in so many ways, Miis just give him a colored shirt. No other shirts. No dogs for your Mii, etc.

Why is everything supposed to look realistic? They're video game avatars, they're allowed to have their own little cartoony looks that are different from our looks, they're not supposed to 100% every feature of ourselves. Plus, it's a video game avatar, a minor thing that you don't need to worry about. Remember, you can't escape from reality if everything looks like reality itself.

It's not even as good as the XBOX 360

They need to expand their base. Right now I only see it being catered toward young kids, hardcore Nintendo gamers, and families.

Yeah, but the developers can't even put the full game on there. They practically have to make them less fun so they can be played on the Wii U!

And they're LAUNCH PORTS. Of course the quality is different, because those games have different features, good and pointless, on the Wii U. The console has only been out for 2 weeks, give it some time. The tech is new to developers, so some games could turn out to be a disappointment. Wait a few years, the system is only getting started with its lineup.
