Re: Minecraft Official Topic

Looking for the most common house for average-experience minecrafter. What and where.

Question: Where do you live?

Options: Underground, Inside of a Mountain, In a NPC village, Above Ground, In the air.

Also, what biome?

My answer: Underground/Inside of a Mountain. Extreme Hills/Jungle.

EDIT: K, I'm about to ragequit. I accidentally hit a pigman with my snowballs, see...

Pillar up 4 blocks then snipe them.

What, the pigmen? No, I was fighting blazes in a fortress that was crawling with the porcine entities. Net result= Loss of a full suit of iron armor and a diamond sword. What's worse? The little bugger stole my battle suit!

I haven't tried it myself, but what if you built battlements?

I have recently made a compact binary counter, and a cobble generator cube (with it being very easy to make it into stone generator). Thank you youtube redstoners and free time!

Why would you want a cobble generator over a stone generator?

cobble sometimes looks cooler.

Coming out this evening. Crazyman47 is in London, and he has the finished episode waiting to be uploaded on his computer. We build a Bed & Breakfast in the village, so if any of you guys have any improvements to suggest on the house after we built it feel free - neither of us do much house building on Minecraft  tongue

Re: Minecraft Official Topic

I tend to build on the tops of extreme hills. Harder to lose my house that way.  tongue  And I've played around with fireworks a lot in creative, they are very resource intensive and time consuming, but they could be a great business idea on servers with economies. The effects are pretty cool, sparkle, trail, large ball, small ball, star, creeper face, burst, and many different colors and fade effects. This is one of the coolest additions yet!

Yes..

On another note, I'm trying to gather all of the mods needed for Feed The Beast.

If you've had your head under a rock for the past few weeks, most likely, you have no clue what FTB is.

Basically, it's Tekkit, but better.

Link: Feed The Beast

(Most of) The MindCrack guys are playing FeedTheBeast, like Etho, Nebris, and Pakraat. Yes, on multiplayer, though you can play single player FTB.

Yes, they're quite cool! Should be a great addition to multi player.

Yeah. They're technically like weekly updates, only buggier than the normal updates and not as much content.

If you want something to do while Scratch is down, check out tbgs.tk! It's the new version of the (closed) Scratch TBGS, run by Scratchers! I'm going to spend most of my time there, anyway.
