Front page time limit

I have a project with 91 views (probably over that by the time you read this text).  It doesn't appear under Top Viewed.  Is that because it's over 3 days old?  I've had one older that was one the front page...

Re: Front page time limit

It's based on the average amount you get every day.

Re: Front page time limit

no, I'm pretty sure it's based on "most views within 3 days of sharing" but some of those in the top viewed are at 3 days and 20 hours.

I also think there's some other line in the code that selects projects based on how many of your projects have been front paged...or something.

no

if you are in the top 10 most-viewed and the project is < 4 days old, you get on the front page.

if the project is in the top 10 most-loved and is < 10 days old, you get on the front page.

I didn't know it was the first, but the second would be totally unfair, so I don't think that's true.

No, I think you might be mistaken.

The code that selects projects for the front page is designed to prevent multiple projects made by the same user from appearing on the front page at the same time. For example, if a user has two recent projects capable of being in the Top Viewed slot, then only one can appear.

Re: Front page time limit

4 days for top viewed, 10 for top loved and I think it's 10 for top remixed too.
