that's like saying 200 dollars is pricey??? i've seen 500 dollar jewellery.
it's 2.5 times the price

No it's not really. 500-200 = 300 5-2=3  The difference between them is larger.  I could find 2 dollars on the street if I searched for it.

i fail to understand how you got that
it's the same ratio but to get you to understand a bit more here-
do you know what kind of living arrangements he's (assuming a he because of man) in? do you know if he goes to the library to get on scratch? do you know if his family can barely afford food? do you know if he's not expecting christmas presents this year?

I could easily afford the app if I wanted to. I've bought a couple ipod games that are fairly over 5 bucks, but the thing is while the app looks like it could be fun to play with for a while, it wouldn't be worth my 2 dollars if I never used it again.
