What is "mesh"? Iv seen some people talking about it in posts on forums or on comments in projects but what is it exactly? Thank you for any help!

It's a way to connect Scratch projects on a local network. In a mesh setup, a broadcast on one computers is sent to all of them, and variables are shared under the "sensor value" block.

How do you get it? Is it downloadable?
It's available in several Scratch modifications or if you modify Scratch's source yourself; you can find more information about it here on the Scratch Wiki.

It's also available in Scratch 2.0, that will likely come out soon.
What's your source? As far as I know, it's not available in 2.0 so far...

In Scratch 2.0, we have cloud variables, but I don't think mesh.

I have insanity and panther, both which have mesh but I have no idea how to use them. Also they can't upload to the scratch website yet I have seen people's projects where it is apparently mesh, how is this possible?

What do cloud vairables and lists do then?
They are variables shared by everyone who views the project. It is a way of using mesh without the host having to give away their IP adress.

Oh so if on one project if the cloud variable +1 it will + 1 on all viewers?
Yes, it will be.
