Wouldn't it be a "countup"? Doesn't sound quite as catchy, hah.
I remember when we were so hyped about the millionth project, a long time ago. Scratch has really come a long way. My first project is the 302408th. Unless you count past accounts, in which case it's the 69209th project - back in the 1.2 days

I don't know what my first one is, because I deleted it.
A while ago, I deleted all of my projects for various reasons, but I have put some of them back.
I almost did that, until i relised im kind of a old veteran here. Ive been here a lot longer than most of the "famous" scratchers. So i like to keep them to remind myself of how long ive been here.

It's at 2,958,898! You should update the number!
EDIT: DO NOT look at where it says Community Stats, they're way off! You have to look at a newest project.

Let's make predictions when we think were gonna reach 3Mil projects
Based on my math, December 27th.
Hey, good idea! I say earlier, like the 23rd.

December 5, 2012 at 9:09:15 = 2,958,898 projects.
December 4, 2012 at 21:47:03 = 2,949,570 projects.
That's approx. 9,328 projects every 36 hours.
Counting from the first mentioned date, 41,102 projects left for 3Mil.
That divided by 9,328 = 4.
4 * 36 = 144 hours, or 6 days after the first mentioned date, meaning we should get 3Mil by December 11, 2012 at 9:00 (UCT -7). Feel free to correct my math.

Eh, good point. I change my prediction to December 12, just to be rebellious. XD
EDIT: Although, your math may be inaccurate because more people post projects on weekends, just as a fact.

Of course it'll be inaccurate - I'm assuming project growth is entirely linear. You got a pretty good point there, though. We might get 3Mil even before c:

We're not hitting it on the tenth. We're hitting it TOMORROW. I saw around 289,000 yesterday, now it's almost 7,000 more.
