Roblox
I can build, learn scripting, go to war games, go to building games, chat, and calmly ignore 7-year-old ragers, which makes them rage more.

Bahahahahahaha. This poll is just hilarious.
Minecraft.
Mainly for two reasons: I've never played Roblox (nor do I plan to), and I've been playing Minecraft for nearly two years now.
Also, Minecraft has apparently a much larger and better community of people who like to create things in their own imagination, and freely share their builds. Roblox's community is just teeming with raging 7 year olds.
HM I WONDER WHICH ONE'S BETTER.
Just another note, this opinion isn't biased at all, it's completely honest.

Vs.
Although it's greatly overshadowed by Ten, it's still pretty amazing.

Guys, did anyone read my post? The games aren't even similar.

I've tried to play Roblox before.
I couldn't figure out how to move
There was this annoying grey box always popping up with no "X" button.
And I couldn't seem to shoot.
Also, even with it completely off, it slowed down my computer by a A LOT
Minecraft gets my vote.

Rating Roblox off of a game someone made is like rating Scratch off of a Scratch project.

I found that most of the games requiring team-work never worked because it was all "stop telling me what to do, I want to stand in this corner and do nothing". Plus having 10+ blocks in the game would lag the server out to the point of not being able to hit anyone.
My vote would be Minecraft, better community and you can do a lot with a simple server.
This is coming from someone who's played Roblox for 2 years and Minecraft since beta, not "Roblox because Minecraft costs money therefore it's bad" or "Minecraft, Roblox sux cus internet sed so".

Might not be biased, but still isn't right. You are openly admitting that your opinion on this was formed by what you learnt by other people, and that you've never played Roblox.
(+1 for minecraft from me as well though)

Judging entirely by the game, which many people don't seem to do, ROBLOX. It is a very powerful, fully scriptable game engine, whose true potential is nearly never used by the users, sadly. I believe Minecraft's set of blocks imposes a bit of a barrier in creativity, on the other hand, and it seems to be much more focused in construction than gameplay (survival, etc). ROBLOX lets you define the gameplay.
Judging by the community... Haha, neither.

Minecraft, all day. I've been playing since Beta 1.1, and cheer when the next update comes out. A lot of people I know play Roblox, but that's because it's mostly free. I personally hardly know anything about Roblox, but in MC, you kill the undead, giant flying ghosts that throw fireballs at you, and eventually a huge dragon that breaths enderfire. The first thing my dad said when he saw MC was, "Why would you like this, it's got horrible graphics." But that's what makes it so amazing!!!

That's EXACTLY what my dad said about MC too o:
I told him: "Well, how would you want me to grow up. Tormented by ODers and trollers, or creative and thinking of things to make all the time"
I suppose Minecraft has a better community, because ROBLOX has only really ODers because of the fact you can get body skins.... And the fact you can customise your character. In Minecraft, you'd get banned from a server INSTANTLY if you went around asking "Wanna make out" etc.

it'd depend on the server
(and hopefully no server would deem to ban you for an offence like that-just mute you)
Yeah, but a server that like has almost everywhere saying "This server is meant to be a child-friendly server!" you might get banned for saying that.

Minecraft.
1) Its a little bit more fun.
2) The GUI is better.
3) 99.99% of people on Roblox are either idiots who think literally everybody is a n00b who cant play video games, a n00b or a spoilt 6 year old.
4) Everybody sends you friend requests on roblox.

Minecraft. I have Roblox and I played it a lot- until I bought Minecraft. And I think someone said that Roblox and Minecraft have the same type of community-
Ahahaha, no. Minecraft's community is fantastic. Roblox's goes without saying, or you could read the above posts.
So I vote Minecraft.
