I have noticed a spam attack going on. Does anybody else know about this, or maybe know why it is happening?

Anyway, if you see a spam post of any kind, report it. They seem to usually be advertising TV programs, and it now seems to be sports-related.

Anyway, if you see anything that looks sort of spammy, report it. If it is obviously spam, report it and possibly get your friends to report it too or also report it with a test account (if it is a Scratcher) in order to prevent it from continuing.

Most of the one's i've seen lately have allready been flagged enough that a note was placed that a mod will check them out.

I did report all of them. I think that if you see another one, report it, regardless of whether anybody else says they have, so that it prevents the spammer from continuing before a mod comes.

Apparently it's still going on. I just saw 3 threads. Again, report them, and maybe report them with a test account too, if it has Scratcher status.

Probably. The Scratch servers are really slow right now. (I tried to get on the site earlier and it said that the server was having difficulties.) There are spam attacks right now. Coincident? I think not.

i have been getting Scratch Servers are slow for a couple of days but i am on Spam Watch at the moment nethertheless!

How would those be related? The spam posts are only a few an hour, which isn't enough to slow down the server.

At least. I seem to recall 8 or more.
