Platform Help

I'm having some issues with my platformer test. You're able to go through the black platform. I know why this is, but I don't know how to fix it. I trying to make i so can only stand on it, and not go through it. The ptatform is a part of the background, but it still does the same even if it's a sprite.

You could have a sprite on both sides of him and set them to 100 ghost effect so that they would be invisible and you could use those sprites to detect if it is touching the side of the black platform
