Will user accounts and projects get moved to 2.0?

Will all the accounts and projects from the current site be removed when we upgrade to 2.0? I really hope not, but I was just making sure.

i could imagine a race when 2.0 comes out to get 1000+posts first.

Still, what about the CAS?
I can imagine that many usernames on this site are already taken on that service. How will that work?

as of now, on the 2.0 forums the post count is invisible
