programming languages similar to scratch?
That support 3d graphics and is free to use.

http://www.alice.org/ is probably your best bet. Though it's mostly for scenes based on watching my sister use it. A friend of mine did create a little race car game with it though.
I personally think the blocks don't look very good, and it's hard to understand (for me), which is why I stick with Scratch.

Somebody should mod scratch to import 3d models from google sketch up. And have a Z postion.
