How to sidestep

Long story cut short, I am making a game where I want the character to sidestep vs position of the mouse. How would I do this?

This is in the wrong forum, it belongs in the Help with Scripts forum. Not only does it reduce clutter, it will net you the answer you need a lot quicker.
