Scratch should have a thing on your page next to each friend that says "online" or "offline" so that you could tell when they were online. you would only see it on your friends list, not others. it would be so great! or just anywhere next to their name, like on comments and on their page and on their projects and galleries.

A very good idea! There is one way though. When you read someone's post, at the bottom left corner of it, it says if they are offline or online. Of course, if they never log out and just shut down the internet, it should say that they are on. I do that actually. Well, most of the time...
