Seriously. Anyone who has ever sung "Joy to the world, Barney is dead" was probably a fan when they were little and are just acting "tough".

Elmo is adorable

And Barney was a friendly critter that many of us grew up with. Heck, I hate to admit it, but if it weren't for Barney or Elmo's world, I wouldn't be half as creative as I am now.
