Help - awkward admitting a lower grade?

I'm not sure where to put this. Sorry if it's somewhat whiny.

Help, what do I do? I was tired and had to finish up a grammar test due today and I lied to my mom that I got 100% because it's my strong point and I usually get 100% on these kinds of tests. But I actually got 84% and there were 25 questions  sad  I feel awkward telling my mom now. What should I do? Should I just admit that I lied?

That's not a bad grade. Just tell her.

If it was under 60%, then you should be worried.

Erase grade mark photocopy it write 100% instead of 75.

Im a 90% percent student in geography. I got a 72% on a test because i forget alot. Test are very difficult, getting 100% is nearly impossible for me.

I'm cyberschooled, so the grades are online and my mom can check them any time on her computer but she's shopping now.

It just feels awkward because usually I get pretty good grades so 84% is relatively a bad grade for me  sad  I'll try telling my mom, though. Thanks for the help. I'm just a big chicken, so...

Just say you forgot answers to important questions. Tell the truth, anything above 70 percent is very good.

Be honest. If you've never done this before, I'd assume she'd be understanding if you just explained. In the future, don't feel ashamed and just tell the truth and you won't be in a position such as this.

Also, this thread doesn't fit here—it's exactly the type of topic they were trying to eliminate when they eliminated Misc.

Re: Help - awkward admitting a lower grade?

Just tell her the truth. That's what I always do.

If you admit you lied, she won't be mad about the bad grade. She'll be disappointed, but that's okay. It happens. She'll get over it, and so will you.

It works for me all the time.

It'll be worse if she finds out online.

Re: Help - awkward admitting a lower grade?

Sorry about your moral dilema - I can only give you the old quote about "what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to decieve" - and suggest that you continue this convesation somewhere else, since it isn't a good fit for the forums.
