Another Newb
I just recently tried out scratch, and I love it! I feel this program will really help when start to use code. I'm still playing around with it, so any help at all is appreciated. 
If you were to try any of my uploaded projects, then I would play Pokémon Battle 1. I think it's the best I've done ATM. The kind of help I'm looking for is Platformer games.

As said above by ProgrammingPro1, there's an excellent article on platformers, though there are also various platformer engines already made spread across scratch, so you could look at their scripts and learn what you can. This is often very helpful.
