I only liked the classics. Like with many classics, Sonic videogames get worse with every release, IMO. Mainly because it's not as simple as the original.
Anyway, happy birthday to our old (but still fast) blue friend.

Sonic is awesome. I still think he has good games. If Sonic X-treme was released, I think that Sonic would be what Mario is now. I am a big Sonic fan. I would play any of his games, even his so-called, "bad" ones. I do not think he has bad games, it's just that everyone has expectations from the earlier games. I hope that Sega is making a Sonic game that has been in development since 2005, and they won't reveal it until 2010, and it won't come out until 2012. It will be epic. Long live Sonic. But IGN just hates Sonic
