FireAlpaca

FireAlpaca is a really cool drawing program/image editor. It's a little like Photoshop and SAI combined and simplified. And it's free! The download is safe on that website, I tried it. It's for PC and Mac (no Linux  hmm )
The only thing I don't really like about it is that the blending is a little weird. It's not exactly the same as SAI or Photoshop (it has many less functions, for one) but it's a cool alternative if you don't want to pirate and can't afford anything else (@GIMP fans: no).

also: it's called firealpaca

Re: FireAlpaca

Some features I like about it:
The snap feature: your strokes automatically align with a grid (SAI doesn't have this)

The protect alpha and clipping features: these are pretty standard but still neat (protect alpha makes it so the transparent and opaque parts don't change, clipping means the layer you're on won't go outside of the one below)

The layer blending features (too many to describe)

The gradient thing, which isn't as complicated as GIMP or Photoshop but still good.

Re: FireAlpaca

The title alone got my attention.  tongue  "FireAlpaca". Greatest marketing ploy ever.

But it looks promising! I'll try it out sometime.

Re: FireAlpaca

Yeah, it's really good, especially since it's free. It also works automatically with tablets, or at least my tablet - no setup required. That's pretty much why I like it so much.
