Squares And Graphic Effects

So I was trying to make a button do a whirl, and one other effect I think, but it did not work it just ignored the block.  Any suggestions?  hmm

You need to put : When Flag clicked forever change effect swirl with 25 .

Sometimes the whirl effect is happening, but it's not as obvious on solid-colored shapes.
