Help on the wiki.

Almost all problems here can be fixed on the wiki. So if you are in need of help it would maybe be better if you looked first on the wiki / scripting tutorials. If you agree or disagree please post. If you think this topic should be moved to suggestions please report it.  smile

Re: Help on the wiki.

I kind of agree.

The wiki only has so many articles, and a lot of the questions on here can't specifically answered by the wiki.

But I do agree that the wiki should be looked on FIRST.

Re: Help on the wiki.

I agree with you to an extent; yes, there are some topics on here that can be solved by wiki articles alone, but then there are topics about compound problems and there are others where a physical scratcher is needed to guide another through the problem/script. Also, there are problems/scripts that require specialized answers, which the wiki can't provide very well. So overall, yes, the wiki should be checked first, though it isn't going to be the source of most answers.
