There are two solutions:
1)Get Ubuntu. it is Unix/Linux and can't get windows viruses.
2)Disable antivirus and use a firewall. I have ubuntu but firewall works for my dad.

Um. PC means personal computer. If you mean windows, there are cross-platform viruses and viruses for unix/linux/ubuntu.

I don't really want to uninstall my antivirus software, and I don't want to switch operating systems. Emailing Norton seems like the best option, so I am reporting this to be closed.
