Here's mine:

Chapter 1: The Arrival

Journal Entry 1, 6/13

I was on the beach, next to a fancy hotel.

Well, i wish. Until i woke up in a deserted area.

It had been about a day since i woke up. I don't know what happened. Maybe my plane crashed, or anything. Looks like i half to get away from this big foresty area. I punched a tree, made some wooden planks. It looked about noon. So, i kept building. All day all night. Ehh, it was 6pm, almost dinner time. Equipped with my fishing rod, i grabbed a big juicy fish and cooked it.

That image next was just me relaxing on a bench, eating the plump, juicy fish. It was yummy, of course. It really started getting dark, so i dashed in to my tiny house. Just a small wooden house. I've got a bed, a few chests, crafting table and furnace. I was tired, so i layed in my bed.

Re: Minecraft Fanfiction

Most Minecraft fanfiction is pretty cliche. It's just

"I woke up on a beach and then I went to go survive in the woods I fashioned some tools and then it turned night and HOLY GOD IT'S A ZOMBIE run run run run OH MAN ITS A SKELETON WITH A BOW run run run run some more and WHAT IS THAT--IT'S A WALKING CACTUS--AND IT'S HISSING OH MAN BOOM it exploded! What is this world???? I must survive! MUST!"

Some Minecraft stories are okay though, and don't follow this cookie-cutter design. There was this one I read a long time ago called "Blood and Ashes" that was basically just medieval fantasy that happened to take place in Minecraft. In fact, I always forget it even takes place in Minecraft.
