Why do removed projects vanish from user pages when I'm logged out?

When I'm logged in and look at a user page, I see all of the deleted projects (with the Scratch cat icon, and when viewing it it says "The Scratch Team has removed this project because it was considered inappropriate for the Scratch community." when I try to view it.

However, when I log out, that Scratch cat icon does not appear (i.e. the project vanishes from the user page completely). When I follow a link to it, it just says "This project was considered inappropriate for the Scratch community.".

Why is this?

I really don't know. Maybe it's what skyline said to protect them? But I don't know for sure.

No, not a bug.

It's just intentional so that people who are merely viewing the website (aka, those who don;t have an account) don't become too overly curious in an attempt to try and see what the bad content might be.

I see. Why do they still show up in favorites and stuff, though?

Also, for Mod Share, what we did is that they don't show anywhere.

Could you point out where this is happening? Censored projects usually are hidden when logged out.

I would have to link to either a specific project or user page, which isn't allowed.

Just look for someone who's favorited a removed project.

That's going to hard to do. There's more than one way to remove a project (if a user deletes something, for example). Why not just send an e-mail about it?

I did, and the response was still putting them on favorites is a simple neglect in the software. Anyway, I think I made a bit too big a deal out of just a simple software neglect that doesn't even matter, so I'll report this to be closed.
