I made a topic for this when MaC was days old but it's now closed.
Anyways, discuss Stencyl here.
I have currently made one game with it and I am almost done with another. I will soon be publishing to iOS.
Many people on scratch seem to dislike Stencyl. I was wondering why that is. Personally, I find it to be a very useful tool (it will be even better when 3.0 comes out soon and it adopts haxe.)

I'm publishing to iOS soon too.

It's a paid version that allows you to upload to the Apple app store.

It depends on what you're doing, and they're kind of for different things.
If you actually want to make a professional game, then Stencyl is by far better. It also allows things like Actionscript, which can be nice.

but it's so restrictive :l

Not particularly, unless you're not trying to make a game.

If you wouldn't mind explaining, how? In what way(s) does it limit you?

Splash screens, water marks, gravity, tile sets, etc.

yep

Turn of gravity, don't use tilesets
When you are actually trying to make money off a game you won't use scratch, you will use stencyl because it is more powerful and less laggy. Since stencyl is programmed by many full time developers, you pay to remove splash screens so they could make money. If your game isn't good enough and you don't think you will earn back the money you lost paying for splash screen removal, it shouldn't matter whether it has a splash screen or not.

Stencyl is so complicated for trying to be easy, you might as well ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO PROGRAM??

Stencyl uses complicated collisions for everything, even when you just need it to do simple things. And Stencyl is basically made for platformers specifically and they make it very challenging to do anything else without having to find complicated work-arounds that require you to use actual coding, which if you knew that, you would need Stencyl in the first place. There are just so many things wrong with Stenycl.

You can turn off collisions.
It's not that complicated once you get used to it. The blocks are more like actual code than scratch (what is written on the block is often similar to the code to do that thing).
Even if you don't use the blocks, Stencyl is overall a good programming environment.

I'm excited for Stencyl 3.0! I get a beta version since I'm a subscriber and it's nice.
