.sb to .swf?

Now that we have the OFP and the NFP (old/new Flash player), is it possible to save a project to a computer as a .swf file?

Or is there already a converter for .sb to .swf that I'm unaware of?

Re: .sb to .swf?

I know that you can embed a project as a Flash applet, but I can't find anything about converting a project into a SWF file.

What about downloading a project as .swf?

Swf is a whole other format; you would need a converter to change in-between the two.

I'm also wondering how to do this...  hmm

Re: .sb to .swf?

Haha, code doesn't work like that. If simply changing the filename could do things like that, there wouldn't be a need for this thread.

Re: .sb to .swf?

I don't think that, even if anyone had a converter, they would give it to you with that attitude.

Re: .sb to .swf?

As of now, there's only a modification that'll do .sb to .jar ):

If you let it run in 64-bit mode, then the Java works just fine.

Also, you could use the program that converts it from .sb to .jar, then, if you have a Mac, spotlight search for "Jar Bundler" and use that to make it into .app!

Re: .sb to .swf?

You can convert to .jar. and the program I found is actually the flash player imbedded as java, so that it is java but still the same speed as flash.

Re: .sb to .swf?

I think that there is a  converter that changes .sb to .js or it just runs the .sb in Javascript which is a whole lot faster than .swf

I think there is too - you can run Scratch 1.4 projects in Snap! - well I tried it and it worked, but I've not been on it for a while.

I'm back.
Maybe.

It's probably just running in Flash something that's called 64-bit Java. There's some preferences I recently discovered about this, and this topic doesn't mean anything anymore.
