Someone on the MC forums wants computers to order food with... Ugh. Why do people on these forums usually have better quality suggestions than on there when we have a younger age average?
If you look up you'll see a suggestion for unbreakable emerald tools, not everything that comes out of Scratch is amazing.
I know, but it's better than theirs.

I've been wanting 3 things since 1.8.
- Another version of stone slabs that actually look like the stone.
- REDSTONE BLOCKS! I can't tell you how much redstone hogs up my chests....
- Lighting glitches fixed!
I'm really hoping Jeb can get on to adding these to the game because they would help (help me anyway..) a lot.

I really want redstone blocks for storage and for vertical redstone.

Vertical redstone can be pretty easily done with glowstone in a 2x1 space.

You can also do it with upside-down slabs too. I mean 1x1 though.

What do you mean about upside-down slabs? I can't get them to work. When will ever think 'darn this 2x1, I need 1x1!' ? You could also use the torchy system so long as it's an odd number or you have an inverter (t=redstone torch, b=normal block) :

Not sure if anyone will see this, but a random YouTube comment gave me an idea:
Aether + Tekkit
Can you not see the (nearly) infinite possibilities?

That is two ways I know how to make vertical redstone. Sometimes they just aren't good enough though... especially if you are trying to make something as small as possible.

So er, how do you guys go about tree farms, I'll cut down all the logs then I'm left with
LEAVES!
I don't want thousand of leaf blocks by using shears, but I don't want to sit around for an hour while all the leaves die, even though I have stacks of saplings I can't stand to see one despawn.

I've built an even cooler house >:D It was a MOBILE house. It's a pitty I can't get screenshots though, cause I deleted the world.

I think that the problem with vertical redstone, IMO, would be the need for an upside-down torch.

How is that even possible?

I'm assuming this
I'm also building an awesome house, and I'm taking advantage of the lighting glitches to make my roof look all purrrdy.
It's on a floating island, and can have a fully automatic defense system if render distance is on far, it's around extreme hills, so it has a nice view, and I made it so that it's completely aligned with sunset. Right now I just finished the frame, and it has 2 sets of doors (one's for normal, one's for rain), a HUGE set of stairs going up to it, a humongous lava fountain around the stairs, and it already has a storage room, 3 floors, and a bathroom (with a fully functional shower and toilet), and a balcony.
I'm not that good with making stuff look good, so can I has feedback?
To show it's a floating island (I used TNT)
How my roof looks purrdy with the lighting errors
How it looks from under my house
The manual controls for the control room (I added them because it gets a little slow for far distance for me, and so it's much easier than going there and waiting for the villager to come out all the time).
Door controls.
A different angle from under my house
my lava fountain,
the stairs leading up to my house
my finished roof lighting errors
my initials (without the numbers)
how it looks from afar
my house at sunset
a different view of my steps
more lighting errors
Note: sorry it has all those weird size pictures and whatnot, you can click them for a larger size, I was just lazy so I had the website do the BBcode for me.

My opinion on stone:
Stone slab = half stone block
Polished stone = like stone slabs (damage value 6)
polished stone slabs= like current stone slabs
