So, what should we decide to use as our robot?

naturally, I vote for my own.
My red one is too hard to animate and to upgrade the parts of, and yours doesn't have very good animation.

Well, I too vote for my own. XD
My animation may not be very good, but it has good detail.

I vote for top down (will make robots for that). This way we can add rooms and an open world much easier. Plus I have experience with two-way scrolling.

Did you see the scrolling engine I made? It's under the title, "ball game"

I accidentally uploaded it on my real account.

What do you prefer as our robot?

right now, I'm creating test projects for both designs, so you all can see them in action.

No, it's YOUR choice. If you want in, you're in. Read through this forum and get up to speed on what we are doing.

Well, I guess we'll use mine, because Copper doesn't really care, and there don't seem to be any objections. Is everyone ok with my design?
Btw, we could always use copper's design for the enemies.

how are we going to put this up? the game is gonna be an rpg styled game right?
if that is the case, then who's doing the basic lab aperence? if you guys want i can make a model?

I really doubt it but do you still accept new people?
If so, I just got my account but I have been scratching for awhile. I like animating, making non-platformer games (unless they're off of a base), and anything that doesn't have to do with complicated script making that involves lots of variables.

Yeah, we are always accepting new members. Just stay active and check this forum often. Here's what we are doing:
You are a robot prototype that has escaped from the lab and killed your creator, and is trying to get out of the complex series of rooms in the lab. Along the way, you fight other robots and a few bosses.
You can also buy new parts for your robot, like weapons, armor, and joints to boost your abilities.

yeah, rpg. As of a couple days ago, we are decided on our character. Now, we need to design the levels and the enemies. Did you see the character? It's on my profile.

Well, I was thinking that they would have a repeated "patrol" path, but when the player gets close to them, they start following the player.

so we arent going with the arena idea? cus if we where then we should make the enemies follow the player. but with a patrol path it's moore of a level game then a gladiator styled game right?
