music problem
when i tried to upload This (http://soundcloud.com/serious-url/lem-aitre-primeval-atom) piece of music it said "Unrecognized music format!" I wasn't chuffed, so i went and saw the format and (surprise, surprise!) it was an MP3 file.

I don't think that error message doesn't exist when you upload it to Scratch... Screenshot?

The MP3 format has several variations - maybe you found one that Scratch wasn't able to read. Try converting the file to something else using a sound editor like Audacity - see if it can read it in. Then, have it write it out as an MP3 and/or a WAV format and see if Scratch is any happier with it.
