I have heard not deleting them makes scratch severs slow down. You agree they should delete after a month?

No, I don't support because I'm keeping some of my notifications as kind of a "record" for future use, and this feature would delete all of them. Also, what if you get a notification right before the monthly cleaning and it gets deleted before you can see it? Both of these are reasons why I don't support.

1. I see what you mean, but I suggest writing it down or something; it slows down the server when you keep messages.
2. I think he means once the messages themselves are a month old.

we have concluded in the past that notifications should never remove themself because we never know what people are using them for

Ahh, great idea! Some way to save notifications without slowing down the server.
