Interesting idea. But there's got to be a person or a team of persons of integrity with diligence to look at projects of users.

Nice idea Maki-Tak! I would like to see that, though it might be hard to find a good user to be featured. Maybe it could be you...

Doing "other users vote for a user" is NOT a good idea. Someone could make multiple accounts and vote for themselves.

Maybe a 'Featured User' thread? We already have a thread for projects to be featured on the front page, maybe there could thread where a user can write in to feature someone in the Scratch community (other than himself/herself, or course). Or we could just have a group of people with integrity decide. [Assuming the Scratch Team decides to implement the 'Featured User' idea )

This would be a great idea! For example, if a certain user has been very helpful, and/or is good at programming, then they could be featured.

That is, actually, a pretty good idea—many people could get more chances of people seeing their projects and stuff.
Though, we kinda already have something a bit like that, The Scratch Curators—but not quite.

Maybe there could be some sort of filter? Users couldn't vote for other users with the same IP address?
But if more than one person used Scratch in a household, that would backfire...
Edit: My 666th post!
