'Über' is a German word meaning 'over'. It has sneaked its way into English slang, meaning 'extremely' or 'super'. Because of its absence from English keyboards, the umlaut (the two dots over the U) is often omitted from the English slang word. If something is considered 'über complicated' then it is overcomplicated or too hard to do.
