Does the Scratch cat have an official name?

Yes, I'm quite curious if the cat that acts as the Scratch mascot has an official name. Or is the cute feline cartoon figure simply just known through ambiguous terms such as '[the] Scratch cat'?

(hey, the forums said that no question is too basic  tongue )

Andres said that he didn't have an official name but everyone called him Scratch so I guess that's his name.  smile

To be honest, I'm in this mentality that the Scratch cat's official name should be, well, 'Scratch' (you know, like Scratch the programming cat).

I think he should definitely be called the Scratch Cat.  That's the official name he should be given, because I don't know about you, but every time I see him, I think instantly, "SCRATCH CAT."

I think Scratch Cat is his full name, but most people call him Scratch for short.  Kind of like a nickname.
