Bad news, TBGers! Heres what Lightnin has announced!

After some deliberation, we've decided not to continue to provide hosting for the Text Based Games forums after the transition to Scratch 2.0. The main reason for this decision is our need to focus our energy and resources on Scratch. There's no question that the TBGs are a very cool community (especially since they run by consensus of the participants and the TBG mods.)  But at the end of the day, they're not directly related to Scratch. We're going to have our hands full transitioning Scratch and the Scratch forums - so adding in the TBGs to that process and then maintaining a separate server stack / code base for them just isn't in the cards.

So that's the bad news. The good news is that if members of the TBG community decide to setup their own TBG forums on another host, we can provide a way for people to login using their Scratch accounts.  Here are some links to info on CAS, the authentication service we're planning on implementing:

I'd like to do Scripting Success if thats okay, I have a good tutorial for scrolling, so tell me if you want me to post it. Right now Im working on TBG closing, JH1010s resignation, and a comic. So right now we have no CEOs, I could step up to the plate if necessary.

Sorry I am a little confused...am I writing the articles for scripting success or is sommeone else doing it? I don't mind if someone else wishes to do it, but programming and scripts are the things that would intrest me the most.
